Nothing here is an offer
The specifications, crop calendars, packing options, container loading figures and market information on this site are published for information. They are not an offer capable of acceptance, they do not create a contract, and nothing on the site obliges anyone to sell or to buy. A binding commitment arises only from a signed contract or an accepted written offer that identifies the specific product, quantity, specification, packing, price, delivery terms and shipment window.
Specifications are indicative
Every specification on this site is described as indicative, and that is meant literally. The figures are typical contract parameters used across the pulses trade, at levels achievable from East African origins. They are not laboratory results, they are not a guarantee attaching to any particular lot, and they do not describe stock currently held. The specification that governs a shipment is the one written into its contract.
Crop calendars and seasonal indications
Crop calendars describe the normal commercial pattern for each origin. They are not a forecast. Rainfall, variety duration, altitude and growing conditions move these windows, sometimes substantially. Any seasonal availability indicator shown on the site is calculated from the published calendar and the current date; it is not a statement of stock in hand.
Container loading figures
Bag counts shown on this site are arithmetic — a planned net weight divided by a bag weight — presented to illustrate the calculation under a stated assumption. They are not a figure confirmed for any particular container. The loadable weight for a shipment depends on product density, bag dimensions, stowage, container payload limits and road weight limits at origin and destination, and is confirmed at booking.
Regulatory and trade information
Nothing on this site states the import duty, quota, licensing requirement, phytosanitary condition, treatment requirement or residue limit in force for any commodity, origin or destination. Those are set by the importing country and change over time. They must be confirmed with your own customs broker and the competent authority in the importing country before contracting. Descriptions of Incoterms summarise commercial usage and are not a substitute for the applicable rules text, nor legal advice.
Third parties
Inspection companies, ports, corridors and authorities named on this site are identified because they are relevant to the trade described. Naming them is not a claim of accreditation, appointment, partnership, endorsement or any existing relationship. An inspection company is appointed by the buyer or agreed between the parties, and it contracts with and reports to its instructing party.
Product imagery
Product images on this site are generated illustrations drawn from each commodity’s physical characteristics — silhouette, proportions, colour range and surface markings. They are provided so that a commodity can be identified visually. They are not photographs of specific lots, of stock held, or of any facility, and they should not be used to judge the appearance of a particular consignment. Appearance is approved against a physical sample.
Accuracy and availability
The content is prepared with care and reviewed against commercial practice, but no warranty is given that it is complete, current or error-free, and it may change without notice. The site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or for reasons outside anyone’s control.
Intellectual property
The content, structure, code and generated imagery of this site belong to Ko Impex Limited unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share pages for your own business purposes. Republishing substantial parts of the content, or reproducing it as your own, is not permitted.
