Green Split Peas

Green split peas are whole green peas dehulled and split into halves, contracted for soup manufacture, dal milling and retail packing.

Splitting removes the hull and separates the seed into two halves. The parameters that decide a lot are the percentage of clean whole halves against broken and powdered material, and colour consistency across the batch.

Fines and dust
Controlled by screening after splitting, and checked on the composite sample.

Third-party inspection can be nominated at the loading point — sampling, analysis, weight verification and loading supervision. Quality and processing in full.
